Meesho is an Indian social innovative e-commerce company, discovered with unique concepts by the two Delhi IIT’ians Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Barnwal in Dec 2015, headquartered in Bangalore (India). It is based on the B2C model and a wonderful platform for small retail businesses and individuals to sell their products via social media channels like Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, and many more.

Registering on Meesho is not a hard nut to crack. It’s takes some short span of time to register on meesho and start selling your products or brands online.
What are the documents required to register on meesho become a meesho supplier?
- Mobile number
- Email id
- GST IN
- Bank Details
- Pick up address
Once you have ready all the above compulsory documents you can start the registration process. Meesho has a wonderful seller panel registration dashboard, which you access to after successful registration. Earlier to register on Meesho was so lengthy and time consuming as well as we have to wait 24+ hours to take approval. But now, Meesho has made this process so easy and faster for sellers.
Here is a step-by-step guide to register on Meesho:
First of all visit the sites https://supplier.meesho.com/panel/v2/new/login to register yourself on Meesho.
On this dashboard, you get two options:
a) Login to your supplier panel
b) Create your supplier account
As, we are new to Meesho seller panel and gong to register as fresh, So we will click on ‘Create your supplier account’ then a new pop window opens.
Now, you will have to enter the mobile number that you are going to use for your business communication. Before entering mobile number, please ensure that this must be your registered WhatsApp number. Because all the important updates and notifications related to your seller account will be sent to your registered mobile number by the Meesho.
Once you successfully enter the mobile number “send OTP” option will get automatically highlighted. When you click this button you will receive an OTP on the registered phone number provided by you. You will have to enter the received OTP in the space provide below ‘enter otp’ option.
After validating mobile number & otp you will have to enter email address of your business.
Next, you will have to set a password for your seller account. While setting up password some important points is to be noted. That password must be of a minimum of 8 characters and from these 8 characters, there must be at least one number, one upper case (capital letter), one special character (i.e. @#$%!^&*).
Once successfully setting up password, you will be asked to tick mark the option given below if you want to receive notifications and updates on the previously provided WhatsApp number.
When you filled all these details you can click on the highlighted option “Create Account” button. Now your account will be created and lead you to the next screen.
On this screen, you will need to fill in the below details:
- GST Details
- Pickup Address
- Bank Details
- Supplier Details
Now, enter your correct GST number and click on verify button, this site will automatically very and display your details as per your GST number. After that click on the “Continue” button.
Next, you have to fill in your pickup address details. If your pick up address is the same as on the registered GST number then tick on the “use address registered on GST”. Your address details will be auto-filled. Check the details and continue.
After all these set up, you will be asked to fill in your bank details including account number and IFSC code. When you fill correct bank details and click continue the site will verify your bank details and display them for you. Now, Click continue.
At last, you will have to fill in your business details. That is the store name and should be exactly match with the trade name provided on GST registration.
At the end, Read and agree with the terms and conditions of the Meesho supplier and submit. Now you will be registered on Meesho and can start selling online.
